Department of Labor Strategic Plan – Seeking Input from People with Disabilities

Department of Labor - Frances Perkins BuildingThe Department of Labor’s Office on Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) will have a web chat on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 2:45-4:15 p.m. This is a public chat open to members of the disability community. The conversation will be about ODEP’s strategic plan. For the first time ever, the Department will be asking the public about their thoughts, and brainstorming about ideas for the agency.

Even if you cannot participate in the web chat, your comments on the Department of Labor's strategic plan and how it should address people with disabilities is needed. You can email the Department about the strategic plan at: If your comment(s) are related to a specific Agency, please include the Agency's name in the subject line of your email. All input will be carefully reviewed and distributed to the appropriate agencies for consideration. A final draft of the plan will be posted on the DOL strategic plan page for review and comment in July 2010 so do take advantage of this opportunity.
