My apologies as this week has been amazingly busy with work. Our expert committees are in town and I will be meeting with them on Friday so the week has been filled with preparations. I hope to get the full podcast up tonight or tomorrow at the latest. It has an international flavor and promises to be really great!
In the interim, as you know, I had the privilege of being a guest on NPR’s Brian Lehrer Show. On Friday, I had the pleasure of being a guest on another radio show. This time is was on Norma Stanely’s BlogTalkRadio program: Exceptional People, Exceptional Lives. Although I would hardly count myself as someone fitting the title. *smile*
I will be checking with Norma about transcripts for her show.
I always mention that Day in Washington is a syndicated podcast. I would like to take a moment to highlight Beth Case’s Disability411 and Larry Wanger’s DisabilityNation both of which carry Day In Washington as a small segment on their programs. Both are hour-long shows that offer some great insight and detail into disability issues that affect each and every one of us. In addition, unlike Day in Washington, they both also provide some fascinating interviews with leaders in the disability community, educators, advocates, researchers and policymakers.
Thanks for listening!
