Disability Law and Policy−The Mental Disability Exception
Mental disorders and psychiatric conditions−hidden disabilities, are the most prevalent of all disabilities. Disability rights laws promised to end exclusion and inequality. However, for individuals with mental impairments and psychiatric disabilities, the law does not extend the same protections.
